reset password for efiling

Password is must for filing it return online. U have forgot password and secret question so I think you have to register again because there is no chance to get password again only chance is that secret question

you can also reset your IT password through your previous year itr e-filing acknoledgment number.

 IT password is very important don't forget it.

You sent Mail to   ask @ incometaxindia.gov.in  for reset of Password.

and provide following Details:

Name:

Father Name:

D.O.B.:

Pan No.

Address:

Mob. No.

then you can recover your password within 72 hours

If you have previously e-filed your IT return you will be able to reset your password only if you have the correct e-filing acknowledgement number mentioned in the ITR-V for that Assessment Year.

 If your have not previously e-filed your ITR return you will be able to reset your password using details on your PAN card

just go to Login Page of the E filling Website & Click on the Forgot Password. Enter your PAN

then enter the other details as asked on the web page
