I have a query regarding preparation of consolidated Accounts in the case of Listed & Unlisted entities.
For Listed entities Consoldation is required as per Listing Agreement, which law entails Unlisted copmpanies to prepare Consolidated Accounts??
Does Companies Act mandates preparation of consolidated Accounts??
Please help.
As per Accounting Standard 21 every company having subsidaries has to prepare the consolidated financial statement.
