Sir, I have taken GST registration under wrong head. I was supposed to be registered as a tax payer but I entered tax collector due to lack of proper knowledge.
Now, I want to cancel that particular registration.
How should I proceed?

Persons registered as tax deductor or tax collector cannot file for cancellation. So it's better to contact your jurisdiction tax officer
