regarding revise return on demand by IT

pls reply me regarding this query,

Return was filed for A.Y 2008-09 Elotronically \ online. Deprication in the software was claimed by making a new block and value was entered. Due to Software mistake Depriciation was not claimed in return while processing of the return. Latter return was processed And Assessee has not received any Intimation. And now after time limit for revised return is over. Assessee has Received DEMAND LETTER for disallowed Depriciation.

Pls give me Remedy as soon as possible

if the return is filed "wrong" then u are liable,

if the return is filed right but they processed wrong then go to correction u/s 154

FILE THE RECTIFICATION U/S 154 AFTER LONG IN TO THE ASSESSEE ID AVAILABLE THROUGH THE INCOME TAX E FILING SITE AND TAKE THE DETAIL FROM THE CPC BANGALORE AT THEIR TOLL FREE NO. AND FILE THE RECTIFICATION ACCORDINGLY. ELSE SEND THE RECIFICATION PAPER THROUGH SPEED POST GIVING THE DETAILS OF THE SAME.
