hi...
i have registered for my articleship on 20.03.2012 but due to some reasons took transfer on 11.10.2013 and got re-registered on 15.10.2013. during my articleship i have taken excees leave of 45 days as per my previous principal and the same is in the records with icai...and under my new principal i havent taken any leave ..whether i m eligible for nov 14 exam or not...

can i set off the excess leave with the eligible leave ...
plz help..its urgent

Dear friend,

One has to complete at least 2.5 years of articleship and clear both groups of intermediate to be eligible to appear in CA final exams.

It seems you're not eligible to appear in Nov 2014 as for that you have to complete 2.5 years of articleship by April 30, 2014 and as on that date you're short on by some 4-5 months.

n as per icai leave calculation, till 30.10.2014 m eligible to take 80 leaves on the basis of number of days served ..cant i set off my excess leave with dis 80 days...
