hi... i registered for articleship on 19.03.2012 for 3 years and got transferred in second year on 11.10.2014 and got re-registered on 14.10.2014. as per my previous employer i got an excess leave of 43days. i havent taken any leave from 14.10.2014 to till date. my question is can i set off my excess leave with my currrent principal eligible leave or not... plz help as i have to fill my exam form... thanx in advance..

Regarding eligibility for exam

As per ICAI's guidelines total leave allowed is 1/3 of the total period served as article therefore u need to calculate your total no. of working days under both the prinicipals divide it by three what you get is the total no of leaves allowed. Total leaves allowed is based on total period served.
