Regarding cenvat of service tax
Can Cenvat availed on input services is utilized for the Payment of Swatch Bharat cess on output service or whether swatch bharat cess is paid in cash only?

Swachh Bharat cess (SBC) is not covered in the Cenvat chain and should only be paid by way of cash. Further SBC paid on input services cannot be availed as Cenvat Credit as well.
However, any excess SBC paid previously can be set-off against the current SBC liability.

Hello,
SBC is not integrated in the Cenvat Credit Chain. Therefore, credit of SBC cannot be availed. Further, SBC cannot be paid by utilizing credit of any other duty or tax.
