Regarding cash deposit
Sir I am an Accountant. Sir my case of income tax has been selected for secrutini regarding to show the cash deposit by me at the time of demonization period for Rs 15.45 Lac. Sir now I am in acknowledge that the ministry of finance has passed a rule to stop /drop the proceeding against the assesse who has made the transaction less than 25 Lac. Sir please guide me in this regard. THANK YOU.

As of now there's no such circulars to drop scrutiny proceedings have been issued by cbdt
From where you got info of 25 lakhs ....

In response to notice, you have to explain and justify source of cash deposit of 15.45 lakhs
and face scrutiny .
