Status of the physically filed returns cannot be tracked online. The communication for manually filed returns happens only in physical form through postal services. Hence you may have to keep waiting to receive your status on whether your return has been processed or not.

thank you very much mam for your reply,in this case return was filed about 1.5 year before and in that return assessee forgot to claim refund of tds deducted on f.d.interest,now he can file revise return online only if records of original return are updated online otherwise he has to file original belated return,so i want to know from where we can check the status.please help in this regard...
