RECENT RBI WRITE OFF

Respected sir, please clarify about bank write off. Some people say, that RBI's write off will slow down the process of loan recovery. Is it true?

I’m not talking about RBI, but in general, when the loan recovery is painstakingly slow which eventually turns out to be an NPA, it is written off as a loss.

It is just writing off in the books of accounts. All recovery court cases/litigation and others agencies will continue in their recovery pursuit. We do have now a much stronger act and law for people fleeing country or defaulting.
