In case of Accounts, use a good authors book (R.L.Gupta and Radhasamy) or your class notes for concepts and work out sums from R.L. Gupta's book. For AS, use D.S.Rawat's book..In case of Cost Accounting and Financial Management, use either Ravi.M.Kishore's book or Vashist and Saxena's or Padhukas book which u feel comfortable and start your preprations from that book...In case of Income Tax, i recomend yout to start your preprations when the book of AY2010-11 comes in the market..use T.N.Manoharan's book for tax...And lastly, for law, use Munish Bhandari's book and make notes from that book and study..Plan your studies..remember you still have sufficient time.so no tension..plan and do your studies. Also buy scanner(containing questions of past 12 years i.e 24 attempts, preferably solved) from the market and work out the past exam questions from each chapter once u finished reading that chapter. It will help you to a large extent in planning your studies and passing the exam

but friend tell me about my college part also na

u r doing B.Com naa..if yes, mostly more part of ur b.com syllabus is covered in CA itself...If other course also, dont worry...cos grad exams wont be as tough when compared to the level of CA exams..so in case of your grad. exams, u start reading for them 2 weeks b4 ur exams. It will be enough to get more than 65%.and if your coll permits u to bunk for certain fixed hrs.i.e you can bunk till 25% of total attendance or so, do it for ur CA preprations. Also if giving Proxy through ur friends is possible , then make the full use of it and utilise the extra time u are getting for CA preprations..If it is possible to study in ur college without any disturbance also, then make use of it..Good Luck

thanks alot brother

Also remember Arjun the All India Rank 1 holders in PCC exams in November 08 and June 09 were college goers.u can find it if u go through their interviews in caclubindia forums of in any old news papers...If those guys are able to achieve so much inspite of attending college and also doing regular articles, then, u without articleship can even do better..so Plan well and study..Good Luck

Ignore your college. take hollidays for as maximum months you can. dont think about bcom exams in march/april. going to college for even one hour will destroy your full day. so it should be completely off.  just start studying for may exams with full speed right now. because 6 months are very less for first group of ipcc. because there are 4 practical subjects. start coaching and finish it as soon as possible. also cover syllabus at home along with coaching classes. than after finishing classes go for self study.

giving one group is very good decesion.

follow the below shedule to preparation

accounts: do one author's book and study material. solve all practicals with your own hand twice. means after completing syllabus do it again. in second time you can skip simple questions.

same for cost and FM

for tax: read a chapter and than do its practical. than again read it fully. and  do practical again. than learn all. because tax need to be done 5 times.

in tax and accounts you can easily score 70+ if you have prepared well. in remaining two getting high marks is difficult.

books:

cost: ashish kalra

FM: rajesh makkar

tax: girish ahuja, you can additionaly do paduka if you need more practice
