Hello friends I have a query relating to arrear of salary received by a govt employee due to revision of pay scale by 6th pay commission
How to claim relief under 89(1) when one does not have the bifurcation of the arrerer in yearly form the arrer is 40% installment for last 5 yrs can u pls help
Dear amit
suppose u received Rs 40000 as arrear, devide that amount by 40%
resulting that u will get 100% of arrear salary of last 5 years i.e. 100000.
now devide tthat amount by 5 so u will get the yearly amount i.e. 20000
nw set off the first 20000 with 1st year and 2nd 20000 with 2nd year...
in the same manner next installments will be adjusted with next years
