Quick Summary
This discussion explores whether a provision for a sales invoice can be booked when the recipient's identity is unknown, but the quantity and amount are clear. The consensus is no, as a provision requires an uncertain obligation that is probable and reliably estimable. If the party is unclear, it's recommended to use a suspense account instead. Provisions for doubtful debts are different, as the party's identity is less critical if they are likely to default.

No. Because there should be an uncertain obligation which will result in a liability which is probable with reliable estimates to raise a provision. If the party name is  unclear, take it to suspense account.

Obviously you can make provision for doubtful debt because knowing the party is not necessary if it will make default you have provisions to make it good but if it will pay your amount mention his name
