Dear All !!

I am Ex- Employee of Ernst and Young - Mumbai(2008-2011). I am a Foreign National holding foreign passport (Nepal).I worked with that entity for 2.5 years. After resignation from the service i was told that PF regulation/ACT has got changed in 2010 and as per the new rule i can withdraw my accumulated balance on the early of the following date:

a) Attaining 58 years or
b) Death..

My query is waiting till 58 years is quite long. Is there any way out to encash the PF balance.

Waiting for response after reading (amended para 69 (under para 83 of Employees’ Provident Fund Scheme, 1952), an International Worker.) and impracticability of law in this regard.

There can not be such rule....  why dont you directly enquire to PF department of your jurisdiction...?

As per my understanding Foreign national can withdraw the accumulations on leaving the country for working in other countries.

There is a certification proforma for the same which has to submitted through the ex-employer for certification of facts and the remittances.
