Can I submitt PT challan to Govt of Maharashtra which is paid to Govt of Karnataka

as you are registered under maharastra profession tax, how you can pay the tax of maharastra state at karnataka? is the permission taken from mah pt department to pay the taxes at karnataka? PT is applicable and payable for employees serving in maharastra
