Dear All,
We had raised the bill on 31st of Mar'2012 @ 10.30 and we have paid the service tax on 09th of May'2012,
Please advice how can we submit the return.
Presently we are paying service tax on payment basis. like, invvoice date - 30 sep'2012 and we will pay on 05th of Nov'2012.
May I Request you kindly advice please.

According to me, you file your Return in time without mentioning challan details for the March & Septmeber.
Or mention wrong challan details.
After, you pay your taxes, just revise your return with correct challan details since return can be revised within 90 Days of original return.
This will avoid penalties.

Hi Thanks for update.
Any other option and how much penalty should be impose.
Since in ur case delay in filling return will be from 15-30 days, so u have to pay penlaty of Rs. 1000 for each return.
