More than 1000 invoices are coming per month for a few service providing companies. Is the print ouf of invoice mandatory for those companies which maintain records in electronic?

Presently Yes.
Government is considering e invoicing, which will replace the physical records.
Yes ,because sservice tax cedit is allowed on the basis of invoice & for invoice there are several criteria which have to be fulfilled . For that you can refer Rule 9 - CCR 2004
My question is
if einvoice is allowed by the dept then need invoices in PDF or word format or in tally itself it will wrok ?
