hi,can anyone tell me the eligibility criteron for appearing in cs executive exam to b held in june 14,is it mandatory to complete the computer training under cs course for a qualified ca?i did not get a proper answer from icsi website therefore putting up a question here,plz let me know that whether computer training under cs course a mandation for a qualified ca and if its not mandatory then which exam i hv to gv to authenticate computer training,and when to fill examination form to appear in cs executive exam to b held in june 14.

Eligibility criteria for appearing in cs executive exams is, u need to register with institute for executive programme altleast 9 months prior commencement of exams i.e. u should have registered with institute by 30th September 2013. And for availing exemption from computer training u should have computer training certificate from any institute which u can attach as a proof with icsi that u have required knowledge of computer and its operations and other relevant softwares like tally, ms office etc. Like a certificate of itt training of icai will also do as per my knowledge.. but u should confirm it from icsi branch... and recently icsi elearning have also launched online training programme for students convinience. Under this programme a student can complete computer training or SIP training at home only through online mode... so it would be much more convinient than going to training centres.. hope my reply solves ur query to some extent.. YOU ARE NOT REQUIRED TO DO ANY ADDITIONAL TRAINING FROM ICSI.. YOU JUST HAVE TO GIVE A TEST WHICH IS KNOWN AS ONLINE SIFY TEST. YOU CAN REGISTER YOURSELF ONLINE AND JUST HAVE TO GO TO NEARBY AFFILIATED SIFY CENTRE TO GIVE A 80 MINUTES TEST. SITE FOR REGISTRATION FOR THIS TEST IS "WWW.ICSI.SIFYTEST.COM". JUST REGISTER THERE AND FIND OUT NEAREST COMPUTER CENTRE. GO THERE AND GIVE TEST.
