Can a regular TDS Statement (with demand) be canecelled due to wrong TAN be quoted? If Yes can sum1 tell the complete procedure?

YES. IT CAN BE.
Firstly apply for the cancellation of return filed to your AO.
After that you have to provide an affidavit (sample will be provided by department).
Affidavit is regarding any loss occurs or credit claim by other will be binding on you.
After that you have to file return with correct TAN no.
