well u may be right in ur own since that only ltd. co's require cs but there are other options too which u can explore for e.g teaching in a coaching classes subjects related to cs for e.g co.law,economic labour law,sec. practise,etc

also if u r pursuing an additonal course along with cs may be ca or cwa it would be an added advantage.dont get dishartened at the mere fact of not getting an employment oppurtunity.with the number of complications coming in day to day life and also number of statutory requirements to be fullfiledmi think by the time u and me become a cs we will get oppurtunities.

dont take tension just focus on doing whatever u r good at .

Be optimistic. Don't rely entirely on others' perspective. I do say there are lots and lots of venues for qualified cs where u can bloom with a dazzling lightining...

I am working Company Secretary of Private Limited Co. ,having great exposure and good package . Even after doing a proffesional course I am enjoying a peaceful life as workload is much more bearable compare to other proffesionals like CA and CWA.

Please dont get frostrate, We have great exposure not only in employment but also in practice .

Lots many incorporaion ,IPO's ,joint venture ,merger  are taking place for which Comapnies does not have any option other than qualified CS . There are many Co. who are appointing CS as liasoing officers ,compliance officers .Huge MNC having many subsidiaries generally have big Secretarial department.

Even , small Co. hire CS for routine work like form filing and register maintaing and minutes compliance .

Due to recession there is sl*g in employment oppourtunities in all spheres ,even in our field ,but it is just a temporary situation .As per my opinion due to opening up of economy huge industrial development is expected in near future ,which will def. increase deman for CS.

members of ICSI is  not even in 25000 till today ,hence there will be great empl opportunities in future . If you go for LLB along with CS , it will be great combination.

Furthermore I would like to add that job of working CA and ICWA are interchangable,but only CS hold statutory position in the Co. hence no CA or ICWA can be appointed as CS of the Co. unless they held both the Qualification.

So dont worry ,go ahead ,if you are determined enough and clear your groups without many attempt ,you will surely have bright future ahead.
