Frndss today i came to know abt d follwn thru FB..........IS IT TRUE...........PLS LET ME KNW ABT D EXACT SYLLABUS F ST.......THANX IN ADV....

The ICAI Committee decided that the following topics pertaining to service tax law will not be included in the syllabus for May 2013 :

(i) Section 66C - Determination of place of provision of service
(ii) Section 66E – Declared services
(iii) Place of Provision of Service Rules, 2012
(iv) Section 68(2) and Reverse Charge notification
(v) Export of Services vide rule 6A of the Service Tax Rules, 1994
(vi) Mega exemption notification and other exemptions
(vii) Abatement notification

I think it is applicable fro IPCC not For final & even icai site have no such annoucment so all are applicable.

dont follow the fb becoz they dont have any source.

Miss Anchal what is the basis of believing some lose and weird posting on FB. These are rumor mills running in most forums to either create panic in the minds of the students or leave them confused.

If someone throws such questions or posts comments of these types, do not trust it, until they can substantiate by way of Official communication from the Institute. As a professional, you must start questioning the intention of such people, if their design is to blatantly deceive the students.

When examination is just few days down the corner, it is better to ignore such baseless postings and try to help your fellow students by not posting such comments over here, so that they can be thankful to you.
