ICAI has announced dates for november 2010 exam...No updates on PE II.....

hey freinds

i got reply from ICAI, its not positive but at least i got mail from other side.

One thing i noticed is, when i mail all case with keeping you in CC, they didnt replied. Because if they wud have replied, then other PE2 student from CC wud have questioned them again. So they are replying to those mails with no CC to any student. But dont get upset, mail to ICAI and when reply comes, distribute it to all freinds.

I will mail reply to all freinds today evening. If any1 more need the reply please PM me your ID

If its end for us should we be prepared for IPCC in November,2010?.And if yesterday was the last date of regstration for November,2010 attempt does that mean we have to again suffer by wasting another six months.Really no clear cut solution is available for us.

 I got the above mentioned reply from ICAI.One thing is gtng clear guys ICAI is nt going 2 change any sort of regulations for PE II students and moreover there is no notifications for the same in november term.

A few of you were saying to put this matter infront of media.Since,ICAI is not entertaining us properly,I believe taking this kinda steps can help us.......Else we have to carry onnnn with it.......

Conversion from PE-2 to IPCC

What is the period of articalship for students who converted to IPCC from PE2 ?

and when will the final Attempt due ?

Is it 3 years articals and after 2.5 years Final attempt ?

@ Sree: Period of article ship is the same as in PE2 i.e, a total of 3 years....but eligibility to write final would be after 2.5 years of article training and not after 2 years as in the case of in PE2. No special relaxation as yet....we have to go as per the IPCC provisions.

In case of PE-2, the exact rule is 'during last 12 months of articles'. Now, articles starts  only 3 months after our exam results come, right? So, that basically translates to 2.5 years after PE-2 attempt.

IPCC rule is 'during last 6 motnhs of articles'. Since articles start 3 months after clearing of IPCC group 1, this translates to 3 years after PE-2 attempt. This is where the confusion was, people have been confusing the 'last 12 months' stipulation and mistaking it for 2 yrs after PE2.

Either way, IPCC final attempt is definitely 6 months later than PE-2 final attempt, that is the only relaxation they have ever come up with for PE-2 students. And that will end after PE-2 of course.
