Please help with cs denovo registration procedure

Hello friends I'm CS professional student. June 2013 was my last attempt in the current registration as per Professional Registration letter. I've appeared for III module this June 2013 but couldn't clear the same. This makes me ineligible for Extension of Registraton. And i'm left with only one alternative that is DeNovo Registration, please clarify certain doubts relating to CS DeNovo Registration.

Please note: I've gone through https://www.icsi.edu/Student/DenovoRegistration.aspx and https://www.icsi.edu/Student/ExtensionofRegistration/tabid/1534/Default.aspx as well other post mentioned here at CA Club. So only people who can really help are the few who did CS Denovo Registration.

1. Does my existing Registration number get changed to a new one?

2. Did anyone do online denovo registration? If so what is the exact procedure. {I tried it many times but after selecting relevant field form the two dropdown menus an error occurs}

3. If I mail the physical form what is the processing time?

4. Will I be eligible for December 2013 exams?

5. I've sent my management trainee application form in old registration number. Acknowledgement from ICSI is yet to come. Will my current MT training be counted?

1) Yes, your existing number will get changed and you will be allotted with a new number with 5 years validity.

2) There is no online registration option available for Denovo. Physical form should be sent to the Noida office.

3) Normally the processing time may range from 7 days to 10 days. The ICSI has stopped sending the physical ID cards, once you receive the confirmation mail about the registration, you can download from online services. https://www.icsi.edu/webmodules/student/denovo_regform.pdf for download of form.

4) You will be eligible for Dec 2013 examinations only if you register within 10th October 2013.

5) As far as my knowledge i concerned, your training will be valid . The denovo registration fees is 2,000/- but if someone do not possess the Coaching Completion certificate within the expiration time, they need to pay 4.500/- extra towards postal coaching. In total 6,500/-rs All the Best!

Important Good News for CS students seeking Denovo registration.

As you might be aware as per the ICSI announcement-https://www.icsi.edu/portals/0/Announcement_for_students_%20Discontinuation_of_CCC.pdf

Student now don't need to submit Coaching Completion certificate. Therefore Students seeking DeNovo registration can get themselves registered for Rs.2000/- only instead of paying an additional amount of Rs.4500/- for non completion of erstwhile CC certificate.

P.S: I was one of the last unfortunate student who underwent the torture of paying additional 4500/- just because I didn't submit CC papers to the ICSI. Intially I had paid only 2000 bucks but ICSI sent me mail asking to pay the balance amount and apply physically for exam or be disquaified from appearing in the December 2013 attempt. Even after I immediately dispatched the DD 4500/- and sent emails explaining the same along with scanned copies of DD. They went further and rejected my physical exam form (was not allowed to submit it online so had to cough out 500rs for the same). I came to know about this only through the exam application status. After I send repeated emails to not one but three people did I get this issue sorted out. And in the next couple of weeks, they discontinued CC papers, the root cause of my problem. And during all this I was trying to prepare for CA final as CS professional exams.

Hope no one goes through the nightmare I went through.
