Please explain the term "Terminal Excise Duty" ? how & why it levied.
And what is the procedure to get its refund. ?

This is Central Excise duty only- just the Foreign Trade Policy uses the term refund of terminal excise duty on products used for deemed export under Chapter 8 of Foreign Trade Policy.
