Place of business address - unbuilt plot of land

Hello,

I am trying to register for a GST number and have a doubt about the documentation to submit for address / place of business.

I live in the family house (not registered in my name but grandparents). Opposite this house is a vacant (unbuilt) plot of land which is in my name.

Is it acceptable to submit the ownership document of the unbuilt property as my place of business?

The "address" of both places is basically the same. Since there are no house numbers, the address is just My Name, Street Name, etc. - this is identical for both.

Please advise.

Quick Summary
A user is seeking guidance on registering for a GST number and is unsure if an unbuilt plot of land, registered in their name, can be used as their place of business address. The plot shares the same address as their family home. They possess a government-issued 'patta' (record of rights) for the land and are asking if this ownership document is sufficient for GST registration purposes.

No chance to register under GST Act
New Owner ship certificate issued by the Panchayat authorities is essential inthis case.

Could you please specify which part of the GST act prohibits this? Or explicitly requires something to the contrary?

I have the "patta" (record of rights, issued by the govt) for this plot in my name. Will this suffice?
