Dear Sir / Mam ,
An organisation has less than 20 employees in a year , PF is deducted @ 10% p.a.from salary (Basic+DA), i.e.650 or PF amt Whichever is less is it ok..??.
Is it mandatory to deduct PF @ 12% even if Provident Fund is not applicable ??
Pls reple me as early as possible
Where PF is not applicable as per the legislation there is no need to follow the mandate.
When it is voluntory followed you can continue 10% rate and give the benifit to employees.
