Kindly confirm anyone..
Initially while filing Gstr-4 , late fees if Rs. 200 per day and Interest @ 18% pa was applicable of return was not filed within due date. This penalty was calculated automatically.
Now, as per New form Cmp-08
interest amount is not shown automatically..
So we need to calculate???
whereas, late fees has been waived off???
The Portal do not auto calculate the Interest Amount .
Yes the late fee is computed automatically by Portal , but in case of CMP08 it's not computing , so can proceed without deposit of late fee, moreover in my view ,as per Rule 62 of CGST Act CMP08 is statement , not the return form , hence late fee is not applicable.
