pe2 to ipce

You can if you wish, but remember that unless you clear Group 1 of IPCC you cannot start articles. And you can do exam only after 2.5 yrs of article.

I think u should shift to IPCC undoubtedly.... Reason is not that u've been not able to clear PE-2 after so many attempts.... But its the ICAI who is enforcing all the students to shift...

Just look at the NOVEMBER PE-II results.., that clearly signifies that ICAI is doing this intentionally... So better is that u should shift overthere.... and can clear IPCC atleast, they won't fail u their as intentionally as they do in PE-II..

Even i had registered for PE-II... But i didnt take single exam.... Is it possible for me to directly register IPCC

if u convert to ipcc u can only write the exam in May 2011 (obtain from mumbai icai).

 Yeah, its very much possible....

i shifted from pe 2 to ipcc and gave the nov attempt and cleared both the groups, if u have both groups remaining then it is better to shift

I didnt mean to either oppose ICAI or its fans (like u)... What i wanted to say was that as such they r declining the results either by getting difficult papers of checking or by any other source...

PE - II is on the urge of end, so, i think a person should wisely transfer to new course.. there's not that big harm in that..... Hope u understand....

WHAT IS THIS UNIT SCHEME ????

please let me know  if the following is correct ?

example :

if a candidate gets

Costing - 40

income tax - 40

Info tech - 70

Total = 150 - pass in CA PE-II Gr2 ; GR-1 is still pending to clear

Now he converts to IPCC ....

Gr1 - Accounts - 1 , LAW , Cosing , Tax

that means he has to score min 200 to pass IPCC Gr1

so if costing & tax are exempted the he has to score (200-40-40 = 120 marks ) to get IPCC Gr1 cleared , Avg 60 marks in each paper ( Accounts -1 , Law )

He can start aricalship !!

Similarly for GR2 IPCC

accounts , Audit , Infotech

Min marks to pass 150

so to clear GR2 IPCC he needs to score 150-70= 80 marks

i.e 40 marks in each paper--- Accounts-2 , Audit

plese tell me if i am correct in understanding
