Password of income tax site forgotten

Call up this number 0124-2438000. This is the number of the Income Tax call centre, they will ask you some details, on answering the same correctly they wll reset the password.

In addition to above, you can also do the following thing:

Go to "www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in" website. There click on  the LOG IN button and then click on "Forgot Password" button. In case you have not filed any previous returns, you have to answer the security question that was selected at the time of account creation. This will enable you to reset your password.
