the detail should be in the same manner.......as provided by rashid.....thanx........total students appeared for and total cleared in the respective stage....

as Mr. Rajkumar told Total Students at all stages is 450000 and suppose 50 % appreared in the examination than no of appreared students is 225000 

passed students 8000,

so average result is 3.55 %

You are correct that as a public organization passing percentage should be published, I already raised this issue with institute officials in informal meeting, and officials feared that if pass % is declared than   no of students will be decreased as result is very low.
