You can just click forget password button and will get the options.

reset ur password through Pan no. ur password will be sent to ur registred mail add. hint of registered mail address has been also given u by IT deptt

eg- ur password hasbeen sent to ur registered mail id xxxxx1988 @ gail.co.in

on the basis of above hint u can find out your registred mail

the only way is send email to "validate @ incometaxindia.gov.in" requesting for the resetting of the password by giving your PAN No , NAME, DOB etc.

They will reset the password within 24 hours.

I would like to add one more important thing here that we can send the mail on  "validate @ incometaxindia.gov.in", to retrieve the password but again the same problem arises..... the mail should be send from the registered email id only....

You cant reset your password without your secret qns and ur mail id. so you just reapplication to nsdl department. on that application you write ur current mail id. then it will reset.

Try contacting Ayakar Sampark Kendra (ASK) for any general query on 18001801961. My friends PAN was registered by someone else with all wrong details. She got it reset by contacting ASK.
