Opening balance difference

please elaborate which opening balance u asked for

cash

bank

closing stock

or any other

First Make the Trial Balance then only u can get the Exact area where the diff is !

the difference is in cash balance

First check calculation again

den check all entries are done properly

receipt may be in payment side or vice versa

cross check with cash deposited and withdrawn with bank pass book

check any sale or purchase done by cash but recorded as bank or vice versa

Expand the Trial Bal into different Groupings n Put Vlookup then u will get the diff amount of respective ledger.

first tell which software u r using ?? tally ??

Pls Ensure ur software updates your books on the basis of double entry system if not then you have to suffer this problem again and again.
