No, Lawyer is a person who holds the degree.  He can guide for the case but can't represent clients in the court. For becoming an advocate he needs to crack an exam of BCI ( Bar Council of India) first.  After that he have the authority to represent the clients in court.

so an LLB Degree is not sufficient for representing clients in court?
