Many members (especially who are relatively new to this platform) thank for each and everything of certain members....

,i forgot to mention this point..You are right...we have lot of members who come up with good articles...but does not receive the appreciation they are worth for...

I remember a member coming up with the imporatnt news of ISCA module being revised....that was before june10 itself...But majority of us took it lightly...and in the end we had to rush in search of revised module at the last moment before Nov10 exam..

The general aspect is a section of members gives priority only to posts of established members(as u said) even if it s repetitve or nonsense...its high time we realise this and work to build up the reputation of our family....

Its high time we encourage our young friends to contribute the way they could....

Accepting your views rahul...the figure i mentioned was to throw light on how unimportant the repetitive motivation posts are....so in my personal view it is negligiable percentage only , considering the other factors like self belief - hard work - dedication etc...its just a personal view.....

Coming to another point:

I can still find members supporting this forum as well as the post relating to repetitive motivational or tips posts...(well pointed out by Madhu also)Guys...pls keep your both legs on one boat than keeping each leg on two boats..i dont have any prob if you criticize this forum...Your suggestions are welcome...By discussion on this topic, our aim should be to get rid of these repetitive and motivational stuffs and try to add value to our cci family...so if you feel a change is needed stand by us or else.....feel free to say that...if you support both views,then purpose of this forum will not be met...This is a humble request...

yes Gopinath i also missed "Dhaval" article..1st he has taken initiative followed by sasankka, gopinath but latter i got to knw from my friend.. iam really  astonished that one of the top scorer member has created his own community.. sorry, IAM A FAN OF CCI NOT A PARTICULAR TOP SCORER MEMBER  IN CCI.. DO SOME FRUITFUL WORK FOR BETTERMENT OF CCI, RATHER DOING PRIVATE CHAT, EMAILS..

The thoughts have been very well put across by Anil,Lekshmi and the others.It is extremely frustrating to see the kinda posts in the name of help.Shoddily written repetitive posts are really nauseatic! Plus people saying if you like it,press thanks and/or comment is again sheer stupidity! Imagine this is being done by members who are qualified CA,CS,MBA! I never knew that a thanks can win you a mug,t-shirt or an ipod until Lekshmi told me and that is when I could put two and two together. Can't these highly qualified members afford these themselves. What high does one get by collecting points but falling to the level to gain the same?

When I joined CCI, I was quite pleased with the kind of articles I got to read,the files I got to save and the forum where I got to read the discussion.Alas,I deleted my account a few months back when I saw what I saw! I had to be back to see the new updates but things have gone murkier here!Somebody asking to join his/her own fans' community is also outright cheap and ridiculous!

I must tell you that the repetitive articles and the audacity of the members begging for a thanks for the same is too much! As Lekshmi rightly put,it's nothing but spam...I was thinking of writing a post myself but thanks to Anil who brought this up again after Dhaval was coined a rebel!

There are so many good articles and forum messages that we miss because most people go ahead and check the most popular posts and articles and end up missing out on something really good. I am terribly short on my CA Finals preparations and about to sit the May Exams but I am so frustrated and irritataed with what I see on CCi is that I had to write this. I especially remember a couple of articles which were really helpful when you really talk about tips and tricks (although I second your opinion that tricks and tips do not take us a long way) were articles from Samvit Durga and Maya Delves.I mean these are just 2 examples and I am the last one to propogate names and articles.

Tell me how does it help when someone says be confident,check scanner,find the important questions,plan,don't think about the paper gone by,plan your time....blah blah?Even a Standard 10th guy knows this and more!

I don't even mind teachers advertising their coaching centres here but not posing as students singing paens for a particular institute or a specific teacher! They should be separated as advertisements and should not form part of the Forum etc in anyway!

There's a lot we can do on this website like Anil suggested. There are many of us who do not know where to find financial knowledge beyond text books..say a 2G Scam...why not write a gist of what the facts of the case are or for that matter talk and discuss about IFRS,GST,DT Code?

How does a worthless and repetitive article of tricks and tips help the CCI members in any way and I don't understand how can the others say and keep on saying pages after pages of "Thanks sir,It is really very good", "thanks for sharing sir,you are great"? By saying so,are we not fanning the pride of the person?

CCI is a great platform to network but isn't it used in the wrong way....

Grow Up guys before it's gets intolerable here. Let's resolve to revive CCI.

I will be back after exams for sure and do my bit....will you?

@ Neeraj : Thank you...its good to see all of us have the same view point....I will do my level best for this platform once the exams gets over..i thought of posting this in forum after exams...then later realised for the benefit for all,its better to post it at the earliest to bring an end it to this menace(tips,motivation must read etc..)
