Hi Balu,

Since you would be spending more than 183 days in India, you will be treated as  Resident for the year 2011-12 and so you have to pay Income tax on your foreign income and indian income.

So your pension income will be taxable under Income Tax Act.

Please consider other's view also.

if you earned income from india or business connection of india under sec 9  you have to pay tax over & above limit specify by income tax
