Dear experts,

          Government imposed 5% Income tax on Non Resident Indian (NRI) over their world-wide income w.e.f. A.Y. 2009-10 is its right ? I found this information from taxguru website. sir pls.. help me if it is correct then send me income tax notification on this regard

 This news is not supported by any link to circular, notification issued by The Income Tax Deptt of India, and therefore can not be relied upon. As of my information the Income Tax Department has not issued any such kind of notification till date.
