Query : There is requirement that minimum 21 days notice need be given for an EGM. Is there any restriction on the maximum length . I mean , any probs or negative consequences if i hold the BM and notice of EGM in month of , say, January and conduct the EGM in april end leaving gap of 2or3 months.

I think , act doesn't pose any probs. Please confirm.

No problem at all as far as maximum length is concerned.

 

Just go ahead confidently...

 

But with extra time-gap there is always a risk of modification of agenda from the management side and you have to re-approve the modified agenda in a BM before sending it to SHs.

Ofcourse, there is no problem. But huge time gap should be avoided.
