Noted Wrong AY while paying Taxes

Hi I have received a case, where wrong AY is noted while paying the tax. Due to which tax credit has gone to some previous years which is already filed and processed.

what is the remedy to claim refund?

What ever the mode of payment, you can apply before your jurisdictional AO for correction of assessment year and it'll be done

Contact immediately Bank ...upto 7 days banks are authorized to correct the A.Y
