better join a CA firm for a year you would learn all basics.

yes. Parul mam is right, Join a CA firm firm to get knowledge of income tax and audit like we do.

no i want to work in industry like some multinational like research firms or kpo's or foreighn banks.

i dont want to work with big 4 or ca firms.

join the industry u wish coz they will train you while in the company itslef for their work

You have lost touch with the subjects. You havent lost your knowledge. Download Intitute's study material and start reading. Focus on the area you want to specialise. Best of Luck

do onething just read the amendments and check internet for practical knowledge.....say for income tax check website of income tax efiling ,for vat cst check vat website  and so on.......

At 1st you should join CA firm just for 6-12 momths for learning purpose thereafter you may build your career as per your wish.

As someone has already said,join a CA firm for a short period of time. Since this is the season of compliances you will learn a lot more in 4-6 months than you will learn in an MNC in 1 year. Right now no MNC will hire you on the basis of just a degree, Fine tune yourself first otherwise you will get frustrated in the job which will neither pay nor grooms you.

its better join any MNC or banks...but  you have to compromise on pay scale.

gaining confidence is a matter of months. and in MNC you would find more easy to get update for that related part of job.
