During the year 2012-13 in the month of Aug'12 we have exported the goods. The proof of the export documents not yet submitted to the Excise Department within 6 months time. As on date we have not received any letter or notice from the department, now we are filing the proof the export documents. Is there any penalty or demand from the department for late submission of proof of export documents?

If you have not submitted the Proof of Export then the department can demand the duty with interest.
No demand of No Interest because No any condition proof of export will be submitted in Six Month. Goods remove from factory after then clearance from custom in six month.

We are rectify the our opinion in this regard. It is state that no deemand and penalty can be demanded by the concern authority but Export benefit can be dropped on non submission Export Proof. If they deny the Export benefit, issued a Show Casue Notice for further correspondence.
