Non Receipt of Intimation u/s 143 (1)

Hello Frineds/Seniors,

I had made an e-filing of one of our clients claimg a refund of Rs. 'X', after a few months our clients received a refund advice from CPC of Rs. 'X-Y' (lower amount than that was claimed) without receiving any intimation from the department, due to this i am not in a position to find out as to why he has received a lower refund.

My question is that can we get a copy of the intimation from the Income tax website, if yes then how, if no then what should i do in such a case.

call cpc and ask for copy of assessment order u/s 143(1)

Dear Ravi u must hav written your e-mail i d while filing the return , u can also check the intimation there.

U 1st see ur Clint's 26AS in the income tax website. if the TDS amount & the refund u have received r more or less same then. u take the Original TDS certificate of which is not refected in the 26AS & go & meet the CPC & tell him the matter. He will help u.
