New companies bill
Hi,
I have read about the new companies bill passed by the parliament. A good one, I've heard and opine.
But, from which exam does it come into effect for ipcc? Is it applicable for ipcc may 14?

Dear Ashwin,
The Companies Bill, 2012 hasn't yet been an Act till now, then, there is no question of asking in exams about it... let president sign it, make it an Act.... notified by ICAI and let others know about it... then only think of it being asked in exams...
It will not be asked in May 14 exams. (However, if the above process goes fast, and ICAI announce it by the time, then one can't say anything.... but till now, no need to panic on the name of Companies Bill)
