Hello All,
I am working for a company in USA and now we agreed that against the efforts instead of paying in cash, the customer will grant equity to our Indian company (pvt Ltd)... I am looking forward to understand if this is possible at all and if yes how and what will be it’s compliance with respect to Indian laws.

how the actual compliance is to be done will depend on the specifics of the case such as whether it can be covered under automatic route or requires approval route processing etc
