Need a rank in cpt

Dear sree,it doesnt depend on how many hours you study...it depends on the dedication and concentration with which you study....so study with concentration and dedication....waise on an average 3-4 hours will work..as Cpt is a very elementary stage....I also passed the june attempt...hope it helps...all the best

see u just need to pass out in cpt.  u should study 4 hrs a day soundly with concentration.rank does not matter much.ur aim should be to become a CA rather than thinking of a rank. well if the rank comes then its xcellent but one thing u must know or i guess u will know when u do ur articleship dat practical knowledge is the soul of a CA.

Becoming a CA with practical knowledge is of more essence than becoming a CA with a rank without any sense of practical knowledge.

keep in mind these things and u will pass out ur hurdle and become a successful CA

CAT 2011 Tips and Strategies

1) Regular Practice with complete focus is must.

2) Cover entire curriculum leaving nothing.

3) After you have completed most of the course, start giving mockCAT test.

4) Now follow a structured and organised approach to turn your weak points into your strength.

5) You should thoroughly work on the math problems of 10th and 11th standard.

6) Follow the 3 times principle. Solve every question 3 times;first time would be the attempt, second would be a solution and finally for thepurpose of revision.
