NPS is National Pension Scheme and is not Mutual Fund....... but pension scheme lauched under NSDL.. (except little bit of Tier II)
Mutual fund investing requires some basic understanding about different type of schemes and much more on your risk appetite (and surely not on rumours or gossips).
