Hi,

I have applied for Modification in Import - Export Code in Form ANF 2 A. It got approved and received modified certificate.

But while applying i did a small data entry mistake, Name of the road is entered wrongly "Place Road" instead of "Palace Road". Now what is the procedure to retify the same?? Can i do modification in dgft portal???

As I understand, you need to go through the modification process once again. But if that error does not make a big difference (other details and pin code must be there), u can ignore it also I think.

Hi, Our company has applied for IEC and got the IEC No. The category of exporter is shown as Merchant exporter while it should be Service Exporter/provider. Can we get this modified. If yes then is it required to furnish additional details with regards to providing proof of being a service provider. We have Partnership Deed wherein this is clearly mentioned that we are a service provider. We have not applied for service tax registration as our TO is less than 9 Lakhs currently. I will appreciate quick response on the same.
