You can show the missed out purchase invoices by taking ITC in next month GSTR3B returns.
You will claim Jun-18 GSTR 3B return.
May be he is asking December 2017 bills but by mistake have mentioned as December 2018.

You can show purchase & take ITC in June 2018 GSTR 3B Return.
