mis match of sales in gst returns

in case i sold goods to a registered dealer n declared the same in my gst return... bt the receiver doesn't reflects the same as his purchases... now what be the possibilities n consequences??... will be disallowed the input tax in respect of such goods sold as the sales has not been
accepted by the receiver??

in a case of sales rejected issuance of debit note with GST requires.
my view:  in a case buyer doesn't take credit without issuing debit note there will be the possibility of showing credit mismatch on buyers part, the seller should not get affected by it, but we cant say 100% before encountering the said situation
