Mechnamism to address grievance dealing with MSME company

Pls advise in case there is a discrepancy found in connection with GST bill, is the purchaser still bound to pay the MSME supplier/seller within 45 days the bill amount. What mechanism does a purchaser have to raise its grievance against a faulty bill and not be held liable for non-payment of bill amount? Thanks in advance for your response.
