Digital signatures are issued under Information Technology Act 2000 and are password protected.  You are not supposed to give password of your  DSC to others.  If you are doing so, you are doing so at your own risk.  As a measure of addtional safeguard, now the Govt has decided to issue DSC in tokens only and not in pfx files.

As per IT Act, in case of  digitally signed document you cannot take the plea that you have not signed the same.  Hence in case of any wrong certification you may be held liable  for penal provisions under the relevant Act under which the document has been filed.

Thanks sir. Please let me know if the it act is also invoked in this situation
